A day at Nuk Tessli
So, what does a normal day look like at Nuk Tessli?
Morning
Breakfast is served at around 8:00 am. We'll be serving freshly baked bread, homemade yogurt, eggs, jams and more.
If you're a morning person, taking the canoes to Sunrise Point is extremely rewarding.
Hiking / Canoeing / Relaxing
After breakfast, you'll make yourself sandwiches from the delicious sandwich platter (freshly baked bread included!), pack more snacks and head into the wilderness for an incredible day of hiking or canoeing. There's many options to choose from.
Of course, you don't have to be active. You can always enjoy a relaxing day in our little slice of paradise. Read a book on one of the hammocks, paddle a canoe/kayak to the Lonely Bench or take a short swim in the lake.
Afternoon
Generally, you'll come back from your day of hiking / canoeing at about 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
The outdoor hot tub (glacial view included) will be waiting for you alongside coffee, tea and some homemade snacks.
We have a verity of canoes, kayaks, SUP's, floaties and more. You can enjoy our lake on those warm summer days.
There are quite a few deck's, benches and other spots to enjoy the sunset over Tweedsmuir Park and the Coastal Mountains.
Evening
Dinner is served at 7:00 pm and typically includes soup, main course, sides, salad and a dessert.
We also serve home brewed beer and wine (depending on availability). After dinner you're welcome to stay in the cabin, reading a book, having a drink or playing games with the other guests/staff.
